Category: Crasher/nasty bug Group: Latest release >Status: Deleted >Resolution: Duplicate Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Synfig can't locate libglibmm-2.4-1.dll on startup Initial Comment: Details: XP SP3 Synfig v0.61.09 I download and installed the four separate pieces for Synfig according to the website. Also followed the installation video found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=mrDqiRI7fwk When I launch the app, I get the following error: This application has failed to start because libglibmm-2.4-1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I've tried re-installing the application; didn't help. I tried an older version of Synfig; didn't help. I've read the other posts regarding similar issues; didn't help. I also used FileMon and it's looking for the above dll in the wrong folder. The dll is located in c:\GTK\bin. I tried copying this dll to C:\Program Files\Synfig\bin and that worked but it then came up with the same error message but a different dll this tiime. Has anyone had a similar issue? I spent hours on this today and I am currently stumped and moved to something else. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Paul Wise (pabs3) Date: 2009-04-30 12:07 Message: Deleting, this is a duplicate of another bug.
