Hi,

Sorry for late response.

It is my pleasure that I can do some contribution for my favourite
application :)

You may know, I just started learning C++, this means I can not do "big"
tasks. I will take some tiny and reasonable tasks for me, so that I can
speed up my C++ learning and get some synfig knowledge as well. It is quite
important to know synfig before doing gui reconstruction.

My thoughts:

1, review all the icons and update/redesign those which need more love,
2, improve some widget based on the current structure (it is a great
opportunity for me to know how synfig studio works,
3, brain-storm and mockups, collect those ideas in wiki and forums,
4, research other animation software (Toonboom and moho, for example)
5, UI/UX research
...

there is a lot to list.

UI/UX is not so easy and coding in C++ is hard too, but I really enjoy them,
I will post my progress here or on synfig forums as frequently as possible.

regards

Yu
