Hi Levi,
it is difficult to debug what's happening without have the possibility of
repeat the steps you have done and without know the error message produced.
I guess that you're using a Windows machine when running Synfig Studio. It
would help if you confirm the Windows version and machine arquitecture (32 or
64 bits) and the version of Synfig Studio you're using and where did you
download it. We strongly recommend to only use the binaries we provide in our
website.
To catch the error from the DOS box, you can press the "Print Scr" button when
the message appears and then send us the image.
Also please check that:
1) Full path for Synfig Studio binaries doesn't have any non ASCII character.
2) Same with the user folder who is running Synfig Studio.
3) That you leave the default options when installing Synfig Studio.

when i start the program it starts but i box stay there that says
"synfig-studio-- starting up application.." and says stuff like loading modules
from some folder and then it will say that like an error occured but that its
and if i exit this box, it closes the program. Any answers? thanks
