Hello,
I agree with Rylleman and I'd say SFC is just what Synfig need if we want
to create a background foundation. It would take all the burocratic work to
do it (at least in Spain it would take you months of administrative work to
create an association) and we can join and part ways whenever we want.
In addition, there are very big projects there, like Boost or JQuery (can't
get any more professional than that), Inkscape or Wine (they have so many
years of experience and yet they have chosen them as background).

So, _if_ we want to create a foundation, and think that would help Synfig,
I think we should go for SFC, instead of making us (genete? zelgadis? I
think they have more than enough already) all the administrative work.

What I don't know is about the legal status of a foundation for synfig in
the US in terms of international coverage. I have absolutely no knowledge
in this area.

BTW, having a look on the link that Carlos posted, I don't see any other
association that would fit our needs better than SFC.

Saludos,
Diego.

Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning
Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing
also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service.
