Thanks, I will try! By the way you said "in the same folder", that means which
one?

I assumed you read the post[1] in <http://linuxtoy.org> http://linuxtoy.org .
In that post, the command "$ synfig spiderboat.sifz --start-time 5941f
--end-time 5951f -w 1920 -h 1080 -o render/spiderboat.png" is for render the
spiderboat.sifz into a specified image sequence.

To run the command properly, you have to have sipderboat.sifz and an external
file it used, it is the source file I mentioned in the article. I didn't make
it public for some reasons.

I began to run synfig studio and read the tutorials and visit Forum. But I am
so old, that need time. one reason I am do this is try help my grandson (ten
years old, his lang uage is French and know a little English, not know
Chinese), he is doing animation frame by frame.

It always takes time to learn new stuff. The manual[2] is a good start for a
beginner, I teach myself by following those documents as well.

Except English, we have Spanish, French and Chinese sub-forums available
currently, so just choose which you prefer :)

This three modes are optional modes only in case you render your animation
(sifz ,sif) to mng format etc.. So it is not the cause here.

You have to put the other sifz file in the same folder.

Btw, this command is just for render job, if you like to give a try, you are
recommended to run synfig studio. You can visit our tutorials hosted on wiki
page, and ask any question on forums.
