Virgil, we have had the same thing happen before with sugar cane and we have always just left it alone. We end up with some crooked cane, but it makes just as good a syrup as straight cane does. I do not know anything about sorghum, but looks like if the cane didn't break off at the roots, your sorghum would be ok, just look funny.
