Dear Syrupmakers
I need your help and advice. The problem is I went
get some cane out of a bed the cane had a white mold on it and the eyes
were rotten but the cane inside the stalk seem to be ok. Does anyone know
what this could be and any way to prevent this in the future. The
cane was covered with the top of the stalkes and with hay on top of them.
The tops seem to be ok also most of them were dry and not molding.
