Hey Guys, I'm putting together a new podcast while I'm tentatively calling "SAPro". Frankly, there are no SA podcasts around, the few that there were are dead and mostly focused on helpdesk/Windows/Cisco. I have yet to find _any_ podcast aimed at UNIX Admins, past or present. So I'm gonna fill that hole.
I thought it would be interesting to have a round-table discussion of SA topics, so that its not just one guy talking. Would anyone be interested in participating? Here's the requirements: 1) You must be a professional enterprise sysadmin with more than 4 years industry experience, and preferably using UNIX more than 8 years... in other words, Linux wasn't your first *NIX experience, and you've used more than 3 flavors of UNIX. 2) You must enjoy your job and view SA as a career. No one wants to listen to you bitch. 3) You must be enterprise business minded. 4) You _should_ agree with the SAGE Code of Conduct. 5) You are aware of your industry, ie, you actually know what USENIX, ACM, SAGE, LOPSA, etc, are. 6) You must be able to use Skype and speak english well. 7) Most importantly, you MUST have a sense of humor. If you're interested email me and I'll round up 3-4 people to try this with. Based on how it goes we'll add more people to the round table. We'll set up a mutual time, have a con-call via Skype that I'll record and form into the podcast. Topic suggestions are welcome from all. benr.
