Hi, We've built a bunch of X4450 without heads, in fact, it's been a while since we've seen a monitor. We're told they still exist, though. We carted one off to a site where they don't believe in our brand of asceticism. These sybarites insist on plugging the box to an actual monitor. Ridiculous! We have no idea how to make the graphical console appear. We've never done this. My bootenv.rc for all the headless x86 boxes all say setprop console 'text'. (Same for my laptop, which appears to have a monitor, of sorts.) I've tried changing this to setprop console 'screen', but no joy. Is it something like this?
setprop input-device 'keyboard' setprop output-device 'screen' What else am I missing? What is to become of the virtual console when you start SP/console, is that still there? Help!
