The root cause seems to be if a user executes dtpad directly. Okay, I'm not a native of Solaris, so I'd like to know how to get it done manually. I have manually added a crontab to /var/spool/cron/crontabs/, like -rw------- 1 root udippel 1059 Dec 16 13:58 udippel Now, it doesn't do anything. Can someone point out to me quickly what needs to be done for it to become active? I did a quick check on Google, but didn't find if the permissions are correct, or what else I'd have to do. (I simply put the same permissions that all other crontabs had.)
