These worked for me, and since the modules were reset, the thrashing has 
stopped.

No, I threw away the old pool and replaced *all* its drives, so I have not had
any further corruption problems.  The last 8 events were the ones where the pool
exploded.

So far things seem fine with the original controllers.  I ran a test scrub last
night when the new pool had about 300GB of data, and it ran without incident.
I'm going to run several more scrubs as we repopulate the pool (this is a backup
host) to make sure we're not getting more errors.
