Anyone got experience using benchmark harnesses? I'm looking for something that can execute benchmarks and collect stats on the nodes which are being tested. Like, say, the ability to run a httperf benchmark of a load balanced cluster and then get both the httperf results along with system stats (CPU, Context Switching, etc) for all involved nodes.
I've looked at the FABAN project, but its super Java centric and aimed, in my mind, more at Java programmers than sysadmins.
