I've been observing /var/tmp permissions getting changed from default 1777 to 755. normally during bootup there is set-tmp-permissions scripts. which takes care of setting correct permissions on /tmp and /var/tmp. for some reason they going away on /var/tmp after sometime. again i correct them using /etc/init.d/set-tmp-permissions. after some days they goes away. This is happening only in Solaris 10 U7. Did anyone faced this issue ? I looked at crontab non of the scripts have reference to /var/tmp or chmod.
Thanks for help. If not i've to open a case with Sun. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ sysadmin-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/sysadmin-discuss
