[sysadmin-discuss] how to listout hanging processes and delete them in solaris servers?

hi experts,
i want to listout hanging processes and delete them to increase the performence 
of the solaris 8 & 10 servers.
i tried to ckeck but not getting."$ ps -ef " will listout all active processes.
please help me in resolving this issue.
