There is no reason I know of that you can't download it from Mozilla and use it.
If you like the all-in-one browser style, that's certainly a much better choice
than sticking with the Solaris bundled Mozilla browser.
You'll only get support from Sun/Oracle for the bundled Firefox browser though.
