Hello everyone,

I've got problem with Intel SSD in Sun Fire X2200 M2.

The X2200 has the latest BIOS/Firmware, can see the SSD in BIOS and boot from
it. I can install another OS (eg OpenSuSE) on the disk without problems.

However, in Solaris/OpenSolaris the disk is not recognized after boot at all.
Nothing in log, format or cfgadm.

# cfgadm -alv
Ap-Id - Type - Receptacle - Occupant - Condition
sata0/0 - sata-port - empty - unconfigured - ok

When I remove and reconnect the SSD, the server recognize the SSD and I can see
the disk with cfgadm as unconfigured.

# cfgadm -alv
Ap-Id - Type - Receptacle - Occupant - Condition
sata0/0 - disk - connected - unconfigured - unknow

I can configure Solaris to use the SSD

# cfgadm -c configure sata0/0::dsk/c4t0d0

and install OpenSolaris on it, after reboot the server starts booting from the
SSD but then it fails and reboots.

Any suggestion?

Thanks
-Philip
