Hello everybody, we have set up a OpenSolaris 2008.11 based storage system on adm64 hardware. It serves a VMWare ESXi Server with NFS storage. The system runs fine but it does not correctly shut down. After pressing the power button, poweroff or the init 5 command the console shows this:
Svc.statd: The system is comming down, Please wait. Svc.statd: 90 system services are beeing shut stopped. Syslogd: going down on signal 15 Then nothing happens. Is the shutdown completed? Could the NFS be hanging there? The mainboard is a TYAN S7002G2NR-LE with one Intel Xeon Processor E5502 (2× 1.86 GHz) * http://www.tyan.com/product_SKU_spec.aspx?ProductType=MB&pid=632&SKU=600000069 OpenSolaris 2009.06 had the same issue.
