If this suggestion doesn't work, you might need to boot from an
OpenSolaris LiveCD and try to import the pool.

I would also guess that the disk is having problems.

It could be a dying disk but I'm only guessing here based on previous
experiences.

Try booting with "-v" added to the kernel line in Grub and see if it
provides more details.
