Hi, I am a kinda newbie in OpenSolaris system. I am writing a script that combines "zpool history" & /var/adm/messages, sort by date&time, and display the result.
However, /var/adm/messages file shows date&time in a different way from "zpool history". /var/adm/messages file shows it like "Oct 11 15:20:33". "zpool history" shows it like 2010-10-11.15:20:33. Is there a way that /var/adm/messages file keeps the format in yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss, or mm-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss? If it's impossible, is there a way to get the entries of the file have year at least? Any comment/advice will be greatly appreciated.
