Alex, I don't know of any XML security (confidentiality) standards and
we are not chartered to deliver one. However it has been noted that
once we define all the syntax/structures for the signatures one may be
able to provide confidentiality with minimal to no changes. This might
be something we do in a future rechartering once we've met our current
requirements.

(2) Are there drafts of the RFCs identified in the "Deliverables"
section of the xmldsig charter page? Can I obtain them?

For drafts and their history, the best place to look is:

(3) Would you be interested in providing liason at the syslog BOF meeting?

Since it is only a BOF, I assume you are not proposing a formal
liason/dependency/requirement, but it certainly makes sense to
participate if possible. What day/evening is the BOF scheduled for?

Looks like Notes dropped the body of Reagle's reply. Grrr. -- Alex
