Even with this reference that it was deprecated, I'll re-include 
back in the previously removed excerpted lines.  :-)  I'll also 
include the other active entries.  Thanks for digging those up.

Can you (or anyone else) document anything that has been used 
higher than LOG_LOCAL7 (23<<3)?  I'm pretty sure that nothing's
there but perhaps I should ask this time.  ;-)
