Syslog-sign does NOT rely on syslog-auth. Syslog-sign uses
a couple of the same elements (reboot session ID, for
example) in its signature blocks that syslog-auth uses, but
syslog-sign requires only syslog. One of the main features
of syslog-sign is that it doesn't require anything else to
start adding security.
