Hi Everyone, I've completed my grand scrub through syslog-syslog-04 with some edits from comments from various people and produced syslog-syslog-05 which was placed into the ID repository today. http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-syslog-syslog-05.txt I'd like to go ahead and get this one submitted to the IESG and on its way to becoming an Informational RFC. Please look it over and send your comments to the group. I've also updated the web page to reflect this. http://www.employees.org/~lonvick/index.shtml If we don't have any active discussions going on about this ID on Monday the 26th of February, I'll submit it to the IESG. This is about 5 working days from today so please take a few minutes to look it over. I know that WG Last Calls are usually about 2 weeks long but this version has changed little since -03 which was submitted soon after the San Diego IETF. It's appropriate to get syslog-reliable on its way as well. However, I think that it's important that we all look over the most current proposal for the authenticated syslog and compare the two to ensure that they will compliment each other. Please take a few minutes to look over the syslog-reliable draft here and send your comments to the group. http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-syslog-reliable-04.txt I'll send out a reminder of this when we get the new authenticated syslog proposal. Thanks, Chris [Replying to this will go to the WG list.] [Please send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you] [wish to reply directly to me. ]
