Hi Folks, A few people gave syslog-syslog-08 some careful review and found some nits. (Thank you. :-) I corrected those things in syslog-syslog-09 and submitted that to the IESG for review with the recommendation that it go on to become an Informational RFC. I'm also pleased to announce that syslog-reliable-07 has been recommended to the IESG for consideration as a Standards Track RFC. This is based upon BEEP which is receiving a warm reception with the IESG. More information on BEEP may be found here: http://invisible.net/technology_beep.html I replaced my ailing hard-drive on my laptop so I'm still re-installing stuff. Just as soon as I get SSH going again, I'll update the web pages. The syslog-sign proposal that John Kelsey sent in an email still looks good. Some comments have been posted that indicate that the terminology needs to be tightened, and it also needs some formatting. I would like for everyone to concentrate their efforts on reviewing that. I'll work with John to get this formatted and into the ID repository. ..just as soon as I get more stuff back onto my laptop. :-) Thanks, Chris
