Hi Folks, Does anyone feel the need to meet in Yokohama? At this point, I don't see any controversy in our last two IDs so I don't really see any need to meet. (I would like to see some controversy in syslog-device-mib-00.txt, or at least some comments to indicate that people are interested. :)
I'm still going for one more week of WG Last Call for syslog-sign-06.txt. Please review it and send comments to the list. I've been diligently moderating the list. I have kept very many spam notes from reaching everyone subscribed. (Boy, am I gonna get really rich from all that money that all of those nice people are going to deposit in my bank account.) I have received responses back from a lot of auto-virus-checkers saying that the list did send around a virus infected email. This is incorrect. I've been told that one of the most recent viruii has a very small SMTP server built into it and can match up senders and receivers from the address-book. The virus infected email may look like it came through the list, but check the headers to see if it really did. ..so don't be yelling at me for passing along that crud - I didn't. :-) Thanks, Chris
