If I understand your question, you should try Optima32 from Gamba's site. The read me & the pdf explain all (6.0.7, no MultiFinder, 32-bit clean apps/INITs only). I played with it on my IIfx, and it recoginzed all 32MB of physical memory, which was extremely cool. But not in 6.0.8; Gamba posted a ResEdit hack for this at the bottom of the "System 6 Vault" page, but I didn't get it to work (I didn't try very hard).
