The normal finder isn't 32 bit either, both the finder and 
multifinder are 24 bit. Neither of them can address more than 8 mb. 
There are two practical solutions for machines with more than 8 mb 
running system. One is to use the surplus of ram space for a ram 
disk. The other is to use connectix optima, which won't work with 
multifinder turned on.
