Thanks for your comments. I ran across that spec sheet earlier tonight... but I hadn't realized OS 7 was around that far back!
Several others have suggested the same things regarding upgrading the OS, which certainly seems like a necessary step before I give her back the computer...

...the StyleWriter I printer was released in 1991, the same year as System 7. I would not expect there to be any version of this driver that works with less than 6.0.7. You can download the last version of the StyleWriter driver to support System 6 here:

Download the one called StyleWriter II 1.2. It will work with the StyleWriter I printer and it will work on System 6.0.8.
There is no reason for the nice lady to be running System 6.0.2. :-) Upgrade her to 6.0.8. You can download it here:
