mel, what is a (mac) accelerated IIci?
a IIci with an faster processor installed. a few manufacturers put them out including daystar and radius (known as the rocket). the rocket bumped the IIci up the level of a quadra 950, which makes a IIci quite a bit faster. used to cost a fortune ($1,500+ now available around $30 or so.) check out ebay and/or the lem swaplist if you are interested. in fact the lowendmac.com section on IIci's is a great resource for owners of that machine, worth a few visits. regards, tim On Saturday, August 30, 2003, at 06:26PM, Mel Schneider <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >I use a Mac IIci OS V. 6.0.8 offline for my and our >household personal needs and wants and I have several >backup Mac IIci(s) (waiting as spares). > >I use a PowerMac 7300 OS V. 9.1 for internet >communications.
