Chris - definitely set up a localtalk or ethernet LAN for yourself. Great fun networking old Macs. You'll have a blast and actually networking them with todays Macs is just too cool.

How long can a LocalTalk network link be? I currently use 25-foot or shorter phone cords with my PhoneNet connectors, but it might be nice to have some of these computers in different rooms...
