------------------------------ Yes, its useful to know what others use. My own menagerie includes the following. ClarisWorks 2.4, Easy View 2.1, Gif Converter 2.3.7, Home Publisher 2.0.2 (I have PageMaker 4.2 but havent tried it in OS6 yet; it was a bit crashy under System 7), MS Word 5.1, HyperCard 2.1, Inspiration 4.0, a file cataloguer called MacLibrarian 1.6.3, MS Word 5.1, Norton Utilities 2.0, SuperPaint 3.5, Tex-Edit 2.7.2, ZTerm 1.0.1 all seem to work beautifully under System 6 with only 4 MB of RAM. Utilities, inits, cdevs, DAs I use include AutoClock, SuperClock! 3.9.1, Extensions Manager, MasterJuggler 1.91, the Stuffits and un-Stuffits, Basic Black 1.5.1, and WindowShade -- the usual. Editions 3 and 4 of the Macintosh Bible have some great suggestions for this sort of thing. Ive looked at various things for organizing the System folder, but finally decided I didnt need them, since you can set the SF window to view inits, cdevs, prefs by kind. By the way, does anyone know if theres a version of Spring Cleaning that works with System 6 on compact Macs?
