I am developing this software on and for a mac classic & a mac

I haven't said this before, but the code that
I am writing is for hobby purposes for me so I will be releasing these
programs under the GPL for free. It's all for fun after all!

Thanks for the details, Bob. I'm impressed. A really good browser that
works on a compact Mac running System 6, even if text-only, is no small
accomplishment. Whatever extra features you could provide are all gravy.

At the moment I'm setting up on the Classic a MacTCP connection to my
usual Unix shell account ISP -- not, I hasten to add, in anticipation of
imminent new OS 6 software :-) -- but because I want to upgrade to
PPP-based e-mail and FTP clients, while continuing to use, of necessity,
their Lynx text-only browser.

I never knew you could have an incremental, tier-type account structure
like this; always thought it was one or the other! Goes to show you can
have nearly anything you are willing to pay for.

Speaking of money: most commendable of you to do this for the fun of it.
But if you wanted to go the shareware route, I'm sure most of us on this
list would be willing contributors!
