Please excuse if this is a dumb question, but I take it you have already made certain that your Internet Service Provider can handle the ancient software package you will need to connect with using System 6 (MacPPP, including MacTCP 2.0.6, PPP, and Config PPP)? Because many if not most ISPs no longer support it. If you haven't done so, check this out and get back to us. Someone on this list would be happy to take you on from there, I'm sure.
