The best tool I know of to find out this sort of thing is GURU, Newer Technology's GUide to Ram Upgrades:
http://hyperarchive.lcs.mit.edu/cgi-bin/NewSearch?key=guru+2.6
It has info on all "old" Mac products' RAM specifications and possible RAM configurations (and other hardware info) in an easy-to-navigate app. I would go so far as to call it definitive.
Another place you could go for some of the more basic specs (but not such essential info as RAM speed...) is the official AppleSpec sheets on the Performas:

128 Meg or as close as I can get so I would like to buy 30 pin SIMMs: 16 Meg > 8 Meg.
You probably know this, but if you didn't it could hurt you so just to make sure: all four slots in the first bank must have the same kind of simms, and all four slots in the second bank must have the same kind of simms. -Daniel.

Thanks for the tip. It appears on page 117 of the "Macintosh IIci Owner's Guide" of wich I have a copy.
Does anyone know if Performer Mac SIMMs can be used on a Mac IIci?
