I have a Personal LaserWriter 300 and a Mac IIsi running System 6.0.8. Is there any way to use this printer under System 6? It was suggested to me once that since the Personal LW 300 came out in 1993, long after the introduction of System 7, that it may not be compatible with 6 at all.
I tried installing the recommended LW driver version for this printer under System 6, but when I tried to select it in the Chooser, it said I needed a newer version of the Chooser to use that driver. I tried installing a newer Chooser version over the System 6 one, but I think it said it required System 7 or later to use that version of the Chooser. What driver do I need, or am I simply SOL?
