You have in daemon/icecream.conf: ICECREAM_CONF="" But in daemon/icecream.service.in you use a different name: ExecStart=@sbindir@/iceccd $ICECREAM_OPTS After fixing this, the daemon works fine here. I have not tested the scheduler yet.
