I would be pleased to see folks working on that -- maybe even sponsor their travel -- but I personally have limited interest in doing the work to have journald send, receive, or manage logs beyond the local machine. There are numerous, free/open-source, feature-rich log aggregation tools that journald could have deep integration with. At Pantheon (and increasingly on Drupal.org's clusters), we use Graylog2, which uses indexing, browsing, and charting methods more appropriate to 100+ machines. We manage the configuration of our machines with Chef. I do see how native support for remote management and aggregation might be useful for smaller clusters where you don't want the additional complexity of adding more tools. Am I misinterpreting what you mean by remote connection and management? -- David Strauss | da...@davidstrauss.net _______________________________________________ systemd-devel mailing list systemd-devel@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/systemd-devel
