Kay, The default /etc/udev/udev.conf indicates (by a commented out udev_log="info"), that libudev's default log level is INFO. However, it is actually ERR.
I suggest we change the default log level to be INFO as that is a lot more useful (and more standard I believe) than ERR. Any objections? The alternative would be to update the default config file.
