This was always our behaviour before, and I believe this is still the intended behaviour after Thomas' changes. Are you saying this is no longer true and that units are generated for sysv scripts even when native units exist already on disk? If so, I'd suggest that that is a bug, but can you confirm this is the behaviour you've observed?
