Yes, it is, otherwise if it wasn't, this scheme is identical to the "no naming scheme at all" > You can put usb devices at the end of the list. Why last? How do you know they go last when scanning? How do you know when / if they will show up? What about 2 USB devices? 3? It looks like you really want the old-style naming scheme, which is great, you have the ability to roll back to that.
