It is refreshing to see that the Cylon eye is appearantly no longer
making the Ctrl-Alt-F9 emergency shell unusable.

I noted now that typing "exit" will get you free of trouble quicker yet. The shell will auto-respawn and Cylon then will keep quiet in the new shell.

Then you can "htop" et cetera on a hung system without Cylon interference while on a current Arch-Linux derivate.
