Hi all, I have this issue from some time now, and it's pretty complicated, so before I get headache, I better ask it here.
I want my desktop users to have a mount- and user namespace. Now the kernel supports the setting of the range of uid and gid used by the namespace. It allows to have a dedicated range of uids and gids. Now how can I make it configurable using systemd when a desktop user logins. As you may know Linux is a multiuser system (for example mutiseat). And some additional steps have to be taken: howto deal with one OpenLDAP server used for uid lookup? Does every user gets it's own path (dn) to the uid/gid? And how can I make nsswitch do search in these dn's? Stef
