Our mission is to design the in-vitro surrogate of the Human brain. A standardised model with human-relevant translational power, to study and evaluate treatments for Central Nervous System diseases and disorders. We are seeking additional scientific co-founders (CSO, founding PI) to complement a multidisciplinary founding team based in the UK.
We welcome experienced people with a background in neurobiology, neuroscience, cellular / molecular biology, or related clinical fields, and who are working on/with any of the following: - human PSCs - 3D cell cultures (spheroids, co-cultures, organoids, assembloids) - CNS disease modelling (neurodegenerative, neurodevelopmental, etc.) - Translational neuroscience - Established scientific roadmaps or projects - Coordinated fellow researchers (PhD students, associates, post-docs) - Driven to push the limits of biology - Unsatisfied with the pace of progress in neurological drug development Whether you are a hands-on ambitious scientist, a PI, or a group leader wanting to expand their academic affiliations to industry --- reach us out --- participate in establishing a new era for CNS drug development! You will join multidisciplinary founding team of established leaders with a long experience in: - advancing the fields of Neurobiology, Bioengineering, Artificial Intelligence - Deploying nation-wide technology programs for neurodegenerative research - Managing teams of academic researchers (Preferably based in the United Kingdom, or open to relocation.)
