Research Associate Position in Neurotechnology and Computational Neuroscience
Neurobiology and Neurotechnology Group, Bernstein Centre & Faculty of Biology,
University of Freiburg, Germany

The Neurobiology and Neurotechnology group investigates the neural and
cognitive mechanisms underlying motor control, learning, and brain–machine
interfaces. We combine human neurophysiology, behavioural experiments, and
computational modeling to uncover how the brain generates complex behaviors and
to develop adaptive neurotechnologies.

We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist whose work aligns with one or more of
the lab’s research themes. The position is initially for three years, with the
possibility of extending for an additional three years.

Further details and application instructions are available in the official job
posting: https://uni-freiburg.de/en/job/00004627/

Application deadline: 31 January 2026
