Netters:

While sending the last message, I have been watching (listening was
more like it) to the 1937 movie, "Charlie Chan at the Olympics" It coinatins
a lot of footage directr from "Olympia" as well as some faked stuff (the PV,
for exampe which features one of the characters in the movie and where they
had a big gaff--he cleared the bar at 14-1 and it is next put at 14-3; it is
also in the dayllght and much of that epic battle between the American and
Japanese vaulters took place in the dark)

But the scenes of the opening parade and of the 400M relay seemed
genuine---at least the early stages of the latter, though the anchor man
didn't quite look like Ralph Metcalfe.
