Netters:

Two postcripts from the Raleigh results:

The Red Bank DMR time is not opnly a national record, but probably
the best time ever run by a girls HS team for the event, for it is three
seconds under Vere Tech's lonbg-standing Penn record (set by the team that
had Janice and Evette Turner on the 800 and 1600 legs. (I don't think they
were twins, however)

Justin Scheid of Pope John broke a monpolyly that Old Army Road in
Bernardsville had on our state class record for the 3200/2M. Chris Hallinan
of Bernards HS had held both the soph and junior marks; Bucky Logan, of
course, the secnior mark as state record-holder overall. And the frosh mark
still belongs to Lou Ross, who was the "one who got away," attending
Delbarton School instead.
