Chryssoula Goudenoudi set a national 400 m. hurdles record on the 2nd day of
the Greek national championships with 56.85, while Luis Tsatoumas was the
winner of the long jump with a personal best of 8.24 m. Nice come-back for
Dimitris Serelis who was second with 8.06 m., while Tasos Makrynikolas
placed third with 8.01 m. It must be mentioned that 7 greek athletes have
exceeded the 8 meters mark this year.

Niki Xanthou won the women's long jump with 6.63 m., where 10 girls had
jumps over 6 meters. The European Discus throw Champion Ekaterini Voggoli
set a personal best  of 65.01 m. Cypriot records for Anni Christofidi in the
800 m. and Anna Fitidou in the pole vault.
