It's not much but my firm has agreed to put up 1000.00Can for this race which will likely cover the top 5 and top Canuck. The goal is to get a couple of people qualified for the World University games which would require a 29:30. This would be over and above the potential Hanson's 500.00US bonus. We are hoping that it will be enough incentive for some borderline athletes to commit to the race-in particular, a group of Kenyan runners living in Hamilton.
