The ad was in appropriate. The angry white lesbians are in
appropriate. I wouldn't let my children (ages 10, 7, 3) watch
Hallowe'en of Friday the 13th or any of that ilk. One because they
do contain to much violence. Two because they represent the most
base and stupid of entertainment. My opinion of those individuals
who think that stuff is good entertainment or non damaging to
young children is les then positive.
To suggest that Kathy's daughter shouldn't be afraid of an add like
that is inane and out of place. My daughter would not have liked
the ad either. To suggest or in this case intimate by comparison
that Kathy is doing something wrong by not wanting her children
exposed to such non sense is rude. Some parents recognize the
damage done by such viewing of such material. There is a higher
level. Try to obtain it.
