Unfortunately, the new AR had to share headline space in the L.A. Times, and probably other newspapers, with the death of an unfortunate 50-ish runner in the Marine Corps Marathon, who evidently collapsed just two minutes into the race. Condolences to the family, certainly, but for the sport it's a very unfortunate timing... ...would seem that something bad always pops up to steal the thunder when good things happen... Don't mean to sound callous about it, just an observation.... RT
